So I fixed the date/time issue I had with my previous blog. Strangely enough it stated that it was posted sometime in August, when it in fact was posted just yesterday. If my mind is synchronized to our world today, and not some other dimension, then we are in fact in September. What the hell just happened over there? Goodness knows...
As planned, I finished reading three research articles today. All dealt with the effects of culture on narrative. It was a pain getting through them. At times I felt like I was drifting off into never never land, where one can fly, fight captain hook, play with mermaids (not dirty play-like incidents...but whatever makes one happy), and hang with the lost boys.
Been listening to a lot of Death Cab for Cutie lately. Good sounds, good style. So far so good. Good is the word.
I just made a promise to myself today. I will NOT miss the episode of House this week. I can't believe I haven't watched it since the third season started (that just reminded me of AFI for some reason. Ahh what a band.). Speaking of AFI (or should I say typing), since I've received a wonderful e-mail from a wonderful friend of mine (Sara yes that's you), I've realized that Davey Havok's hotness has no bounds. If a parent can fall in love with a boy that wears makeup, then there are no doubts at all to his hotness. The makeup just adds to the mysterious look. I think what makes Davey look so appealing is this sense of mystery about him, as well as the fact that no one can ever have him...ever. What are the odds of him showing up at my front door? -1 to be correlationally correct. Well someone out there will have him, or has...and I'm sure it was quite an experience.

"Smiley Davey"
The nights are getting longer and colder. Right now my fingers are freezing, making it quite hard to type. Tea can remedy this situation. Must remind myself to make myself some "cream earl grey" tea. I'm not a big fan of earl grey, however it's the only tea present in this house. Note to self: go buy more tea.
I have a driving test on October 11th. Finally, I will be crossing the G2 line and chill out with the Gs. I started practicing on the highway. It's getting better, but I hate merging...especially when there's a huge-ass truck flying at 5000 km/hr and you're trying to get into its lane. My instructor's pretty cool. However, it doesn't help me when he's making me laugh while I'm on the highway trying to make a lane change. Is he trying to kill me? Probably. Probably not because he'll end up killing himself, unless he has superpowers that I have no clue about. Watch us get into an accident and while I'm in the car, bleeding and being beaten around while the car does 10 rolly things when he emerges from the car (while it's still rolling), gleaming like the sun, unscathed, and flies off into the air with his arms and legs bending/stretching like elastic bands. I'm sure that's what will happen.
Time to stop. More tomorrow.

Good luck with the driving test. I'm the worst driver in the world, I think I passed my G2 exit test just because she felt badly for me and knew I wouldn't be driving a lot.
Nadine, this blog post made my fucking morning! I woke up, made the british equivalent of oatmeal which is jiggly instead of gooey, used the wrong amount of milk, ended up with a shrivelled jiggly mass in my bowl, ate it anyway, ripped open a banana and sat down to do blog rounds before I shower.
And what do I see? Dave's face. I have a much hotter picture of him that you should see. The eye crinkles are sex.
Goodluck on the driving test and that's amaaaazing that you read three articles today! You're on the ball, dude. <3
Yay 'Ndine.
I really should start looking into maybe getting a Canadian driver's license.
Oh, and I think I might have a hotter picture of Davey too :D. Well, I have a couple that I took at MuchMusic, and some are quite good.
And, I'm going to see Death Cab for Cutie on Nov. 1st. I'd been meaning to see them live for a while, I hope it's good!
